If you are an inspiring young writer aged between 12-19, you are invited to enter a short piece of fiction which will be entered into Spark Young Writers Magazine in the UK.

The theme for this competition for publication for this edition of this creative writing magazine is “My Life”

Take a look at a previous version of the magazine  with some Irish winners alongside those from other European countries.

Submissions should be no more than 500 words long and a work of fiction. The deadline for submission to West Cork Music is 30 April 2021 when we shortlist to 5 winning entries for the magazine.

Each submission needs to have parental consent prior to publication, unless the author is 18 years or above.  Entries should be emailed to clodagh@westcorkmusic.ie by 16:00 on 30 April 2021.

Submissions should include the name and age of the writer.
