Join author and illustrator Gerry Daly for a fun adventure with the wildlife of the Skellig Islands. Help the little puffling get back home in Puffling and the Stormy Sea, the latest in the bestselling Puffling picture book series.
Plus even more animal fun in the woods from Gerry’s brand new book, What’s That Spooky Sound?. Children will love this draw-along session with puppets and interactive storytelling.

Duration: One hour.   Ages: 4–8


Please note: This event is limited to a maximum of 30 children. Booking is required for children attending the event only. Accompanying parents and guardians do not need to book a seat. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event in St Brendan’s School Hall.

Puffling and the Stormy Sea is written by Erika McGann and illustrated by Gerry Daly. It tells the story of a brave little puffling who lives on Skellig Michael. It’s a windy, stormy day — a perfect day for a wild adventure — but she ends up far from home. Can her new animal friends help her find her way back?

 

What’s That Spooky Sound? is written and illustrated by Gerry Daly. It’s the morning after a big storm. Badger, Red Deer, Owl and Pygmy Shrew hear a strange sound. It’s coming from across the river, beyond the Big Tree, over the rocks… maybe from the big dark hole? One by one, they set off to investigate. Just what is that sound? It’s kind of… spooky…
