Sean Rafferty in conversation with Attacca Quartet, Donnacha Dennehy
Attacca Quartet is the second US quartet to join the Festival this year. The Quartet has a close connection with leading Irish composer, Donnacha Dennehy, who teaches at Princeton, which provided a good rationale for the Festival to commission Donnacha to write a quartet for Attacca to premiere. Attacca came to fame through their close connection with the now famous US composer, Caroline Shaw. So lots to talk about in our 4th Talking Music .
TALKING MUSIC Join former BBC presenter Sean Rafferty, as he chats with Festival musicians and composers. These informal chats take place in the Brick Oven weekday mornings at 10am, where you can get a delicious cup of coffee and meet the people behind the music.
