Róisín Leggett Bohan’s work can be found in various places including New Irish Writing, Southward and Poetry Ireland’s ePublication 2022. She was awarded first place for flash fiction with Southward #42, for creative non-fiction with Atlantic Currents II and was a runner-up in the Martín Crawford Award for short story 2022. Her poems have been commended/shortlisted for awards including the Allingham, Cúirt, Gloucestershire, Hammond House and MLC Fool for Poetry Chapbook Competition. Róisín was chosen for Poetry Ireland’s Introductions Series 2022 and is the co-editor of the Irish literary journal Howl. She is also a recipient of an Arts Council Award, a Cork City Artist Bursary, and a Poetry Fellowship with the Munster Literature Centre. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from UCC. When she is not writing she might be seen searching for ghosts. Róisín was highly commended in the Cork County Council Library and Arts Services’ From The Well short story prize and her winning story is published in the From The Well anthology.
