Mary White covered ladies football for 17 years. In 2018, she ghost-wrote Game Changer – the first ever autobiography by a female GAA player – for Mayo legend and AFLW Greater Western Sydney Giants star Cora Staunton. Game Changer won the 2018 An Post Irish Sports Book of the Year. In 2015, her first book, Relentless: The Inside Story of the Cork Ladies Footballers, was shortlisted for the Setanta Ireland Sports Book of the Year and an updated edition will be published by Mercier Press in June 2019.
