Gráinne Murphy
Gráinne Murphy is a Cork-based novelist and short story writer. She has published four novels with Legend Press (UK), most recently Greener (2024) and Winter People (2022). Her short stories have been shortlisted for the Royal Society of Literature V.S. Pritchett Short Story Prize (Good Woman Yourself, 2025), longlisted for the Sunday Times Audible Short Story Award (Further West, 2021), and published in Cork Stories and Southword, among others. She believes in human writing and creativity, with all their heart and flaws, and is always working on a new novel.
