St Brendan’s Hall

St. Brendan’s Hall – home to exhibitions and some performances during West Cork Music’s festivals – lies within the grounds of St Brendan’s National School at the bottom of Wolfe Tone Square in Bantry, close to the bay.

The school was built in 1853 at the expense of Richard White, Earl of Bantry, opening on 29th January 1855 before becoming a National School on 1st May 1871. The Parochial Hall was added in 1938.
