Corporate Sponsorship

CorpSponorship

“Something which is of such huge importance to the Bantry area, and indeed to music in Ireland and overseas, gives a unique opportunity to the company to provide evidence of its commitment to be a good corporate citizen as well as being a responsible business operation in its home region.” Conoco Phillips, Festival Sponsor

What the Press says about the West Cork Chamber Music Festival
“Bantry House – the veritable home of chamber music in Ireland”
Karen Dervan, Sunday Tribune

“When bows hit strings Bantry House was transported to a place where music meets the soul and transcends all earthly concerns.”
Aline Nassif, The Strad

“Francis Humphrys has again succeeded in attracting performers of outstanding ability to Bantry. Their presence drew an international audience to hear a feast of music, some of which they would never hear outside such a forum and which was performed at a level of brilliance and intensity that almost makes the head spin.”
Declan Townsend, Irish Examiner

Investment in Youth

  • The chamber music masterclasses for our best young performers make up a crucial investment in the future of chamber music in this country. The classes not only expose the students to top class teachers and performers but they also give them an opportunity to network at the highest level
  • Established Irish performers like Finghin Collins, Catherine Leonard, Elizabeth Cooney, Brian O’Kane, Ioana Petcu and the Callino and Carducci Quartets have all been given international exposure and invaluable chamber music experience as a result of masterclasses and performances at Bantry

“ This is quite simply the most magical Festival of its kind I’ve had the good fortune to participate in. It’s clearly a virtuoso exercise in planning yet it all feels as relaxed and serene as a swan on water. And what surroundings! They help so much to engender the feeling of continuity, of easy conversation and working together..”

Andrew Keener, Record Producer and Tutor
