ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
Approximately eight students from Irish third-level traditional music courses have the unique opportunity to spend four days in West Cork making music with their peers under the guidance and direction of our resident master Martin Hayes.
Masterclasses are held each morning followed by rehearsals in the afternoon. All this will be led by Martin and his team of tutors including some of the artist in the festival line-up – sharing expertise as well as stories from their varied and fascinating professional lives. Over the course of four days, many areas will be explored, from performance to career-building and innovation in traditional music.
